New to site and to smoking as of June this year. Because i camp a lot in summer and have a balcony in high rise condo tower, was looking for something portable and the would meet fire code for building.

Traeger PTG+ fit the bill. And for only $300 am able to enjoy the same amazing taste as those spending $1600 on a smoker. Love this unit just can't cook for a crowd. Bought a high velocity fan to use at home when there's no wind to avoid pissing off resident above me with startup smoke. Usually don't have to use. Also got Brinkman rib rack at Home Depot to cook for more than 2 pp, and Camco Camping Table on Amazon to take on camping trips. Works much better than Traegers stand. Love this unit!
