I've been a long time forum lurker and finally pulled the trigger on joining. Located in Northwest New Jersey and I've kind of become obsessed with whole smoking process.Went to college in North Carolina and was introduced to the wonderful food known as barbecue. Started out with a Master Forge El cheapo vertical water smoker and ran that for about a year to learn the ropes. Finally upgraded to a what I like to term a "legit" smoker when I got a OKJ Longhorn for Christmas. My girlfriends favorite food is barbecue so she pretty much is buying what she terms as gifts for herself with me smoking.
