Hello everyone! I have been using this forum for a couple months now when reading about different recipes and just now got around to joining. I am originally from SE Missouri but was relocated to Iowa for my job after I graduated. I have been smoking food for about 3 years now so i am by no means a professional. My brother who still lives in Missouri is on a BBQ team and they do pretty well. He has been a wealth of knowledge for me and has received countless calls from me all hours of the day/night. I use a cheap Smoke Hollow gas smoker that I have had great success with. I keep saying im going to upgrade to something a bit fancier but every time i eat something off of it i cant talk myself into doing it. Thanks for letting me join and I can't wait to get some good information from you all (and maybe give some info but not sure what all i can offer haha).

Also is there a good link i can go to on how to post pictures? I will do some searching but thought this might be quicker. I am on several hunting forums where it is nearly impossible to post pics. Thanks!

Never mind on the pics! It's real easy from my phone. Sorry for the crappy quality of the pic!

Glad you joined the group. The search bar at the top of any page is your best friend.
About anything you wanna know about smoking/grilling/curing/brining/cutting or slicing
and the list goes on has probably been posted. Remember to post a QVIEW of your smokes.
We are all smoke junkies here and we have to get our fix. If you have questions
Post it and you will probably get 10 replies with 11 different answers. That is
because their are so many different ways to make great Q...
Happy smoken.

Thanks for all the warm welcomes! I'm going to try to do some chicken quarters this weekend so I will have to do some research on here. Thanks again!
