Hello from Texas !!! New member to the forum. I've just started a UDS smoker project having used electric smokers for the past several years. This has been a trying, yet fun project and hoping to get it completed and do the first cook this weekend. Looking forward to browsing the forum and asking lots of questions.... Thanks for the ad to the forum and look forward to visiting with fellow smokers.

New barrel with everything cut, holes drilled and mounted before removing to do the burn.

What all is on the inside.

Double racks

The 2 day burn using 10 wooden pallets.

The outside sanded of burned paint and scorching. Inside still to be

sanded and then paint and hardware reinstalled.

Looks like a good start. Hopefully the liner comes out easily for you, mine did not

I burned 10 pallets through it and the hard part was getting the burnt paint and scorching off the outside. The first 2/3 of the inside sanded down pretty easily, the bottom third and barrel end was not fun trying to wedge myself in the top to get inside it deep enough to reach. Shot the first color combo on it last night and doing the second color today when I get home.
