New member and smoker from iowa

Hello all. I'm new to the forum and smoking but not grilling. 31 years old from Iowa and ready to learn. I just purchased a brinkman offset trail master smoker. A lot to learn and so many questions. Any tips for a new member to start them out right. I have done one rack of ribs that were good but not the best I ever had lol

Welcome to the board! If you're new to that smoker (nice one) try some batches of chicken pieces to get the hang of it and see which wood flavors you like best.

nice smoker I'm new to this, I would like a smoker like this but don't know how to keep the temperature any hints.
