Hey Guys. Just Joined The Other Day And After Reading Several Posts Went Ahead And Bought The Masterbuilt 1200 Watt Electric Smoker With Window, Meat Probe, Light, Etc. Ive Been Smoking Meat My Whole Life But Was Finally Ready For Something More Simple Where I Could Go Out And Enjoy Golf Or The Pool Instead Of Tending To The Fire, Although That Is Fun Sometimes When You Have A Bunch Of Buddies Around And Are Drinking Beer, But Not All The Time. Anyway, Just Wanted To Introduce Myself.

I Have Plenty Of Input To Share As Im Sure Yall Do As Well, Especially When It Comes To Electric, Because I Have No Idea What Im Doing, But We Will See. Im Seasoning The Smoker As We Speak And Im Gonna Throw Some Pork Tenderloins On There At About 630 For My First Round. I Figured I Would Start Out Small. Haha.
 
I also forgot to ask a question. can anyone tell me about this amazing wood chip burning thing? the contraption that burns like a snake. is it worth the money? also, i thought i read that someone would crumble some charcoal in the wood chute on the 40" MES. is that okay to do? thanks
