Hi, I'm John GL from Austin, TX and I got here via KYDave, an online friend of mine who discovered my blog, (http://www.alcoholian.com) which is actually about food and cooking and not necessarily alcohol. My blog is both free to view and free of advertising. I write for fun.

I have an XL Big Green Egg (fully decked), 3 Weber Kettles (two 22.5" and one 26"), a two chambered smoker (that I've had for over 15 years), an 86,000 BTU gas behemoth, and a Lodge Cast Iron Hibachi. I also cook paella in very large pans over my fire pit. To say I'm an enthusiast is an understatement. I've built my own outdoor kitchen.

That's about it for now and I hope that my knowledge and experiences can be of some value.
