New to the site, but not smoking (use a Weber kettle, and a Cheap POS from Menard).  Found this site in my search for information on building my own smoker.  So watch out, ill have a lot of questions.

I am picking up my 80 gallon Cooking Chamber today.  So it start.

First Question, what is the best for cooking chamber door set up, single, double, size?

Thanks in advance,

Phil

I prefer a double door. You don't loose as much temp when you open it.
Happy smoken.

Good afternoon and welcome to the forum, Depends on what you like to cook, if you need a single door or not. A large single door is heavy and will need a counter weight. Look through some of the different builds and see what you think.
