Mornin' Folks,

I'm old, but right now. I'm the new kid on your block

.  Stumbbled across this forum 8 days ago, and now I have a new addiction (you guys).  Thanks for all the info, laughs, oous & aahs.  Just what I needed to get some blood pumping in these old veins again.  I have been grilling for years, but kinda new new to smoking.  That all started about 3 years ago.  After 2 days of prep work,  I went out side to deliver a adult bev. to the smoker (Rick) who was nowhere to be found. When I opened the smoker, I found no smoke, tons of flames.  My wounderful fixin' were ruined. Bye the way, when I found him he was next door, over beved,
passed out in a chair, in front of their big screen tv.  Needless to say I am now the smoker bee at this house!!  Fri, I smoked a brisket, pork butt, brined turkey legs and ham hocks.  There was nothing new there for me.  Todays smoke will be all new to me thanks to folks, cabbage, vegi cups and eggs. Can't  wait!  Once again, thanks to all. Hope I can bring you a smile every now and then, down the road.  Anyway, I think it will be a great ride.   Le
