I am new here.  I live in Augusta.  I just purchased a new Yoder offset smoker.  I love it.  Well built and easy to control heat.

Awesome. I'm having a big party for my son who just graduated from basic in the Army. Going to smoke some pork, brisket, chicken and brats. Do you make your own sauce and rubs?

Not sauce but rub I do. I prefer Hillsdale Bank Q sauce. My rub is KC style. We are not big on vineger or mustard sauces. What sauce and rubs do you use?

I make my own sauce and rubs. Sauce is KC style. Rub varies depending on what I am smoking. I use mulberry wood. It is like using apple wood but is cheaper. BIG bonus saying how the price of meat has gone crazy.
