I'm from the NE part of Iowa, I have a brinkman smoker and grill. I'm more of a novice at smoking yet, but pork loin is my best. I', going to attempt some fish smoking this year and may try doing some brisket. I'm looking forward to checking out all the info I can here for help and ideas!

Lots of good info to be found here, and plenty of helpful people willing to answer any questions you want to ask.

Over on the left side of the page, sign up for Jeff's Free 5-Day ecourse that is the primer for all the new smokers around here....very informative.

Thanks all for the warm reception!!

I work road construction and I'm gone from the computer during the week, so I won't get to check in here again until Fri. Then we are going to an outing for a outdoor web site I'm on here in Iowa. I'm smoking 2 pork loins for the potluck dinner Sat. night.
I'm hoping to get a cell phone that is web capable the first part of June so I can keep up during the week and not spend half the weekends catching up!!
