Howdy folks - new(ish) to smoking, not to cooking. The Missus and I treated ourselves to a MES 30 Gen 2 a few weeks ago, and have been eating like royalty since.

I cook on a covered porch, so expect that this will be a year-round activity for me.

Welcome to the Forum and congrats on that new smoker.   I smoke year round but the winters are pretty mild here in east Texas!!!

Hello fellow NEPAer. I use my propane smoker year round, as long as its not pouring ( a lot of that lately) or 10 degrees out. Winter is a good time for smoked cheese, jerky and snack sticks.
