Looks like a great BBQ forum here.

I'm in Muskegon Michigan. That's northwest of Grand Rapids right on Lake Michigan. Been smokin for 5 years and have had many Q get togethers with family and friends. I make my own rub and BBQ sauce and my kids don't like and won't use store bought anymore. Been smokin on a Char Broil Silver smoker and it finally bit the dust. Decided to go high tech and high quality this time around and got a Stumps Prince with a BBQ Guru Pit Minder. I have been wishing for a Stumps for 4 years and finally got me one. Got it the first of December and did 7 cooks on it in two weeks in 20 degree cold. Not a problem for the Stumps. I'm a happy guy! Can't wait for warmer weather though.

I am a Race Timer. I time and score 5K, 10K, Half Marathons, Marathons, etc... Races hire me and I give them the results as the finishers are coming in and after the race is over. Great work, alot of fun and great people to work with. I like to Scuba dive and usually go on a couple dive trips a year. High points were Papua New Guinea and Cocos Island. Nothing like diving with dozens of Hammer Head Sharks. Nothing!

Future Q equipment list includes a Weber Ranch Kettle and building a roof/enclosure over my Stumps to keep the snow and rain off it. It does have a cover (that I swear could stop a bullet) but really a nice open enclosure with shelving and places for Q things would be great.

I have a great wife (Lisa) that lets me spend big money on things like BBQ smokers and doesn't mind that I like to cook. Two great kids, oldest Lauren is married to Jared and both are teachers in the Chicago Public Schools system and our youngest Jessica is in her Junior year at Grand Valley University.

I like good beer that the local Brew Master (Old Boys Brew House, Schmohz Brewery) provides but will drink a Miller HL if nothing else is available.

Favorite Q food - Ribs, St. Louis style, ABT's, Pizza (in the Stumps)

That's about it...
