New here from Russellville, Ky

  1. Hello everyone, I'm new here from Russellville, Ky. I am currently building my first smoker which is from a 120 gallon upright propane tank. I'm still in the early stages but kinda have a game plan in mind. I really enjoy smoking meat, right now I have a grill made from an old water tank, which does well but it's not a real smoker. This is what prompted me to try to take a stab at building my own. Always open to new thoughts and ideas... Below are a few pics of my progress so far...

    You might want to start a thread over in our "Smoker Builds" forum, we have a lot of experienced builders here who can surely give you any advice you might want!

    If you didn't read the "Terms of Service" notes.....please do.  There are a few things that everyone should know about those pesky little rules before plunging into the forums.

    Lookin'  good so far...Welcome to the forums!  Glad you joined us.  You've found a great place to learn and share ideas on our favorite pastime...Smoking and Grilling great food!  Lots of friendly and knowledgeable folks here who really enjoy helping one another.  Good luck with that build project, and just ask when you need help and you'll get plenty.
