Hey everyone, my name is Matt and I am new here, obviously. I have been around smokers all my life and have built many home made units from small barrels to large upright freezers. I found Smoking-Meat.com a while back and love the site and just recently started lurking on the forum. I have found tons of great info and look forward to diggin deeper into the vast amount of info that is available here. Currently I am using my first store bought smoker which is a Camp Chef 24" smoke house. This is the first time I have ever used a gas smoker as all my others were built electric. I am loving the gas and don't know why I never went that direction in the past. I have never used wood as a primary heat source, but hoping that will change soon. I am currently building up my inventory to build a trailer unit which will be primarily wood with a gas assist/backup. Thats the main reason I joined the forum. I think I am going to need a bit of help on this build. I will that that conversation to the build forum. Anyway, thanks for having me and look forward to a long and tasty future here.

Matt

Welcome To Your New Addictio

Thanks again everyone. I finished up the e course a couple weeks ago, well still reading it.

You will definately get plenty of pictures from me. I have been around forums for a long time, behind the curtain and in front. I know how important they are for everyone. I just cant see any of the Qview at work. All of them are blocked. I have to read about something and then pull it up at home to see it. Frustrating.....................
