Howdy Corvetteguy, I'm new to this forum but have been Qing since the 80's. I bought a Masterbuilt Electric about a year ago and at this time the company is sending me my 4th one. They work great WHEN THEY WORK. The problems I had is the top temp is suppose to be 275 the ones I had would go to 310 degrees an shut down. Or they would shutdown when they wnated to. Also 2 of them would throw sparks around the inside at times and yes they were clean inside. Also they DO NOT produce very much smoke an you have to feed the chip box ever 15 to 20 minutes.
