Just got my first smoker yesterday and among the teryaki chicken and bbq ribs I had to make some jerky. This site helped a lot with my first time smoking so I figured I would share my recipe. I did mine in an electric smoker. Marinade flank steak cut to bacon thickness(I used a electric knife) for 4+hours in:
3/4 cup worcestershire
3/4 cup soy sauce
1tbsp smoked paprika
1tbsp honey
1tsp onion powder
1tsp garlic powder
1tsp old bay
1tsp ground black pepper

Smoke with mesquite at 155 for 6.5 hours on a lower rack. I used a stainless steel perforated grilling rack I found at my local grocery store on top my smoker grates. Enjoy

BMJ8, Sounds good but we need a picture to make sure its edible !
