Wanted to introduce myself to the forum.  Married for 11, father of 2.  Just bought a 30" Masterbuilt electric and looking to learn more.  First planned project is a 4lb pork loin.  Start small

.  Anyways, look forward to learning and listening from everyone who wants to offer advice.  Thanks for your time!

Welcome to SMF! Glad to have you with us! Sometimes a pork loin can be a little difficult to smoke. They tend to dry out easily. You may want to wrap it in bacon to keep it moist. Also don't overcook it. I would pull it out of the smoker at 140. Then let it rest with a foil cover for 20-30 minutes. The carryover cooking will get it up to 145, which is safe for pork. Good luck & let us  know how it turns out.

Will do Al. Those were my exact plans on letting it rest after 140
