Hi. I'm new to the forum. My wife and I are from Indiana, love to BBQ, and are judges on the MBN circuit. We like to experiment with recipes and have developed a dry rub and eight regional sauces which our family and friends really like. I just received a 40" Masterbuilt Electric Smoker for my birthday, a new adventure for us because we have always smoked over charcoal and wood in a water smoker . Someday we would like to have a Stumps or Backwoods smoker, but enjoy our culinary creations we are currently producing. We look forward to learning from everyone on this forum. We believe God gave us taste buds so we can enjoy good BBQ.

Welcome aboard ya'll. By your post, I bet ya'll have alot you could share with this community. Never stop learning. Glad you & your family are hanging out here. Pull up a chair & stay awhile.

Thanks for the welcome. Have been doing this for a decade or more, but feel we have just begun to scratch the surface and have so much more to learn. New to using an electric smoker and have already encountered a serious plateau problem. Posted about it in pork section and would appreciate any advice anyone can give. Will try to help others in any way we can.
