New guy - wood pellet selection for a Boston butt (and meat in general)

  2. Pork loves fruit woods along with a bit of pecan or hickory. Beef loves the stronger woods like hickory and mesquite. Personally, I'll use Pecan on everything and be happy. 

    I'd get a few different kinds and find something you like.

    What do you guys think about the Amazen Pitmasters Choice Pellets for pork, beef and poultry?  I'm all set on pecan for fish thanks to Leah.
