Hello all. My name is Scott and I'm excited to be a part of this forum. I live in the Northwoods area of WI. Everything I know so far has been taught to me by the greatest man i ever knew; my grandpa. He taught my brother and I that hunting, fishing, and trapping are the easy part. The part that requires the most patience and attention is the art of smoking and cooking our game into delicious sausages and patties. Before he passed he gave me his smoker which, after some personal spin i have made into my own. It is an old oil barrel which he had buried into a hillside to insulate it. I have since done a bunch of welding to make it work for me. It is now on casters, and i use both charcoal and woodfire, plus propane as my heat sources. I hope the picture comes through. Anyways, i look forward to learning and possibly contributing to this great forum.
