Hi all,
Ive had a fee smokers in my day such as a little chief, a homemade one i made out of an old nectarine drum and now a Bradley. I love to smoke anything and I've smoked fish, lamb, chicken, pork, turkey and now as of today coffee. When i researched coffee this is how i came across this great forum and you guys are pro. I look forward to learning new things and maybe sharing some of my knowledge. I am from British Columbia Canada and the temperature changes around here make it very challenging to do a charcoal/wood smoker hence the reason I've gone electric.
So as I've read many coffee roasters here and veteran smojers are against smoking coffee beans. A lot of guys tried with the green beans which is an art trying to roast and smoke which is a challenge on it's own. I found 1hr at 100 degrees with cherry wood to be quite delicious so give it a go.
