figured i would start hangin out with other people who enjoy on of my favorite pastimes. i have used a weber kettle for everything smoking, slow cooking and grilling. this last spring i came accross an ecb with a price i couldnt pass up. been playing with it some.

here lately with the wild fires in north carolina and the great dismal swamp producing smoke in our region i have been thinkin of just hangin meat off the deck
 
Hia Crusty! Welcome to SMF! Heh... I don't know if you'd like the deck smoke flavor there bud...LOL! Hope ya stay safe from that craziness. Glad ya hitched onto the SMF wagon...enjoy!
 
Welcome crusty. I can imagine all that smoke in the air ruins the desire for smoked meat after a while. Hope it goes away for you.
 
Welcome to SMF you'll find lots of good info and recipes here. Can't help with all that smoke but hope it goes away soon and results in no major damage
