Hello everyone.  My name is Brent.  I have been around the forums for quite some time but never have posted, and it took me a long time before i even joined.  I have been smoking for about 3 years.  I usually do a few briskets a year, half a dozen ribs a year, and now am just starting to expand and get into pork butts, fatty's, and other things.  I will post some pics in the pork section of the pork butt that is on the smoker right now.  It sucks because i live in a condo, and all i got is the Brinkman electric.  Going to be buying a house in a couple years, then i will be able to step my game up to a better and bigger smoker.

Welcome Brent!  Glad you introduced yourself.  Good luck on finding your home too.  As far as smoking, it does not matter what you use as long as you smoke it.

We will be looking forward to looking at your post.

BRENT,

bigger doesn't always mean better. I have a MES electric and i can put out smoked meat that folks beg for.

It's all in the time you spend to learn to produce good meat off your smoker.

I wil have another wood burner but it will be for doing comps.

Around the house  i'll stick w/ the watt burner.
