Hello, my name is Brannon Revel and I'm basically a backyard smoking enthusiast who enjoys smoking ribs and an occasional brisket.  I pastor a church and sometimes do some cooking for church related events.  I am also founder of a missions organization which does pastor training in Cambodia.  I'm currently in smoker limbo as the Old Country pit from Academy has died.  I'm considering a traditional pipe smoker or the short sniper from Pitmaker.  Any thoughts from anyone who has used both would be welcome.  Blessings.

Good afternoon and welcome to the forum, from cloudy day here in East Texas. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about  everything.

Welcome to the site Brannon.  Sounds like some good work your doing in Cambodia.

I have fond memories of going to hear Mom's Dad preach when I was a young-un.  My spot is in the choir loft, these days.
