Hello,

I am from just outside of Dayton Ohio, Been Smoking for about 6 years. I have been grilling since I was a young fella.

I started smoking in Texas, I learned a few good tricks down there and have had some great results.

My Equipment:

I am smoking with a New Braunfels Horizontal offset smoker.

I do my grilling and a little smoking on a Weber 22.5 inch 1 touch.

My fuel of choice for the smoker is Hickory and for the Weber I am a Kingsford man.

I smoke brisket, turkey, turkey legs, pork (any cut), ribs(pork), chops, ham, lamb (leg), and anything I can get my hands on!

Happy smoking and I look forward to learning and sharing more.

Good evening and welcome to the forum, from a warm day here in East Texas, and the best site on the web. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about  everything.

 smok3y,

Welcome to this forum.  I also have a New Braunfels, a small one.  There is a writeup attached that I made for Backwoodsman Magazine, although they have not published it (and maybe never will, but they are a great magazine for readers).  Let me know what you think about the modifications.  I have a 5 lb pork loin sirloin roast on this morning along with some potatoes wrapped in foil.  Both are a first - let's see how they come out.

Good luck.
