Been lurking on this forum for a while. Love all the information you can get here.
I've been making sausage and smoky treats for almost 30 years. Lots of trial and error, mostly error. Deer and pork sausage, deer bacon and dried venison are a few of my favorite things to make.
Looking forward to making my first fatty. And with the weather that might have to wait till spring.

. I hear ya about waiting till Spring, we got some of that snow, but not as much as you guys. My grand parents were born and raised in Minot. She always said it was the coldest place on earth LOL. Welcome again, and don't worry, Spring is right around the corner

When you uploading to Photobucket I always use the Large IMG setting, 640 x 480 it is a nice size...

Thanks for coming out of the closet, and being a part of the SMF. Trial and error is how many of us come about to some great Q and foods. It's all good my friend.
 
First off welcome to SMF. You'll like it here cause there are abunch of good folks here that would just love to help you out with just about anything to do with smoking. We really like to have newbies here because they can bring in a new propective to how things are done. There's nothing like a new set of eyes to give and new way to make things that little differant to make things alittle better. So I hope you know about the Qview here.

It's also free and it will give you the basics of smoking. So after all of that you just need to go grab something to smoke and if you have any question just post them here and we will answer it quickly so you don't have any mishaps with your smoke.

welcome to the forum neighbor.... glad you decided to quit lurking and come on in... dont wait for spring man... i gonna go look for my gosm in the am, i know its somewhere in the yard which is full of snowdrifts... winter temps and snow aint nothing to let keep ya from smoking. go ahead and fire that smoker up and share some pix with us!!!
