Well, I'm a new guy (patio daddy o) to the forum and have been smoking for about a year. I'm looking forward to learning from folks that have more experience due to the fact that I have just a basic knowledge of the art of smoking.

I just finished a project (my first) 120 gallon smoker that I put together from scratch and because of the support of a longtime good friend (randya), it turned out fairly well.

My friend posted my build before I joined the forum and after seeing how helpful and positive the members were, I had to give it a try.

I'm in Sarasota, Florida, in my mid 50s, and just looking to enjoy life.

I enjoy restoring old cars, and tinkering in the shop on one type of project or another.

Well that’s my story. I hope to get plenty of help and direction going forward and give back where I am able.

Thanks…

Welcome to SMF glad you decided to join in. Thats a good looking smoker you built congrats. Have fun and happy smoking
