My brother in law gave me an old weber kettle that was on its last leg (literally). I managed to make it work with redneck engineering and produced some good stuff using the info from this forum. Friday night it pretty much fell apart beyond resonable repair so I broke down and got a WSM yesterday. I couldnt help but to try it out last night. 14 hrs later I had a perfect 8 lb boston butt on the counter. It amazed me at how little i had to tend to the smoker/meat.
