Hi, new guy here.
I'm here to learn and hopefully help people when i document my build. I plan on sharing my victories and failures so hopefully people will learn from a new guys mistakes.
I am into developing my outdoor living space. What started out as a small addition to a patio turned into a multi level patio with outdoor fireplace and pizza/bread oven. The next phase will be to add a double barel horizonal smoker.
My dream for the patio was to make it entirely out of pavers, stone, and stainless steel so that it is maintenance free.
I thought myself to TIG weld the stainless steel railing over the upper patio. That led to welding the stainless roof of the pizza oven. Next is to make a stainless double smoker. It will cost more upfront, but I won't have to build a new one every five years because of rusting.
I am in Ohio, so lots of cold winters and rainy summers. That is the reason for the stainless. Below is a pict of the fireplace and pizza oven. Next year I plan on facing everything with stone, so it is still somewhat unfinished, but functional. The smoker will be placed to the left of the pizza oven. There isn't a scale in the photo, so it's kinda hard to tell, but the fireplace is about 4 feet wide.
Regards,
Caspian
