Hey folks! I'm a lifelong Maryland resident, into hunting, motorcycles, and making various fermented foods and beverages. I eat a ketogenic diet (high fat, low carb) so naturally I eat a lot of meat. It's high time I learn about smoking my own meats. I know very little about the topic right now, but at a glance I think I'd like to make an electric smoker of some sort. I've built my own electric beer/spirits rigs and countless other diy projects. I'm hoping that experience will carry over. Now to begin the obsessive reading phase...
