Hi, everyone! New to this forum, I have been reading it for the last week or so.

My name is Doanan Philen Iam 23 years old . I currently live in Tuscaloosa , AL and work for motion Industries but I am from Linden,AL down in Marengo county.

I have owned a smoker for the about the last 4 years. I started with a cheap master forge water pan vertical smoker i purchased at a very cheap price from lowes. That thing has has done great and smoked tons of meat for the past few years. It even made a few appearances on the quad ROLL TIDE!! I was given a cajun injector 30" electric smoker a few months ago. I was very skeptical about the electric smoker and the only reason i even took the thing is because it came with a ton of rib racks meet probs and other items i thought i would find handy.

I decided to give the ol' electric smoker a try one day just to see how it did..... HAVEN'T FIRED THE CHARCOAL SMOKER BACK UP SINCE!! haha

The cajun injector crapped out a few weeks ago( i do plan on investigating the problem, it throws the breaker in the house as soon as i plug it in). I did a small amount of research online and then i found the 40" mes bluetooth electric smoker at sam's club  for a great price. I love the new smoker!!

Looking forward to all the info this site has to offer!

<Chuckles> Wait, Tuscaloosa?? Why smoke?? Just go over to Dreamland and pick up a couple a racks!  LOL ..... Those are some really great ribs, they should be mentioned in the same breathe as Rendezvous in Memphis.

Well I guess you'll still need pulled pork or brisket.....

Welcome to the boards, look forward to seeing to great smoke.

Late, whatcha takin'bout, we were just letting the initial rush subside.
