New from the PNW

    Kimbrey is my screen name, actually it's my real name but I go by Kim.

    I'm new to the forum.  I'm from Tacoma (man it's been raining the past few days here).  I'm an avid sports fisherman so I have a freezer full of salmon and albacore tuna to smoke up.  Beside being a sports fisherman I'm also a commercial fisherman (Captain of a factory trawler working in the Bering Sea and Aleutian Island areas. 

    I have a Little Chief Smoker, a new MES 30" with a glass front and a Green Mountain Pellet grill.  I've been searching the internet looking for techniques for my fish smoking especially the tuna.  Also I've just purchased a Smokehouse Smoke Chief cold smoke generator that I will plumb in to my MES with hopes of getting a better smoke at a lower temp in my MES...we well see I guess.

  2. Glad you joined the group. The search bar at the top of any page is your best friend.
    About anything you wanna know about smoking/grilling/curing/brining/cutting or slicing
    and the list goes on has probably been posted. Remember to post a QVIEW of your smokes.
    We are all smoke junkies here and we have to get our fix. If you have questions
    Post it and you will probably get 10 replies with 11 different answers. That is
    because their are so many different ways to make great Q...
