Hello all just joined the forum and just made my first baby backs on my new el cheapo electric. They came out alot better then when I would use smoke chips on my weber propane grill. I am new to smoking and am looking to do a turkey next. I am looking to buy jeff's recipes, do alot of people on the forum use the rub?, and what do you think of it?

Welcome to SMF Ruggersal! You found the "Q" spot here, sir! Sign up for Jeff's 5 day ecourse- lots of good tips there. As far as the rub/sauce- get it. Especially if yer new to Q. it's a great place to start, and many use it exclusively. You'll be glad ya did...

Happy Smokin'!

Welcome to the SMF. You've found the place to be if you enjoy smokin', grilling and just chillin'. May members swear by Jeff's rub, you can't go wrong. Try posting some Q Views on your next smoke.

Fairless Hills!!! I lived in Bensalem until a little over a year ago. My kids still live in Levittown and Newtown. Welcome to the forum.

Anyway, I'm pretty new here too and I've found a lot of great advice and some terrific recipes on this forum. The folks are great and very helpful. Stick around and you will become the smoker champ of your neighborhood.
