Hi everybody i have been smoking and curing bacon, hams, turkeys for about 15 years, picking up bits and pieces along the way. I could have learned so much faster if i would have had SMF and all the fine people here. I have built a few smokers out of old fridge's

and some worked ok some of the first not so good.I found a True pepsi cooler that we have been using with great results .We implemented the chamber fan for circulation . the smoke box is under where the compresser was, with a variable speed fan to control draft ,also has a thermostatic control heat element in the main chamber. We have used this smoker for a long time and like it alot.

Have been looking threw SMF and I would like to try building a reverse flow smoker, we found a 80 gal air compresser 24x48 to start our project, so many threds with so many great ideas. Looking for some help along the way.

Dennis
