Just getting started with the smoking thing.... would love some suggestions on things I will need to make my experience pleasant. I dont have a smoker (YET) but want to give it a try. Any help will be appreciated, thanks!
First off welcome Daniel to SMF. You'll like this place for there are alot of folks here that would just love to help you with just about anything to do with smoking meat. You will find alot of good recipes and techniques here also. so with all that said:
Welcome! As for smokers, it all depends on how much time and attention you will be able to put in. Wood and charcoal are more labor intensivve, but some swear by them for as the purist smoking options. Propane and electric are more set and forget versions, but still require some tending. It is just what fits your lifestyle and cooking style.
Ssup Bro? What exit you at? I was bred off Exit 10, heart of Piscataway, Quido City dude!...You hit any of the Wiggler Clubs on 35? They were Freakin' Bad in the day...Glad you're Chillin' with us!!...JJ
Translation for them Cali Boys:
Greetings my Friend...When you have cause to travel the New Jersey Turnpike, what Exit do you use to get Home...I was born in Central NJ in the Township of Piscataway about ten miles North on interstate 287 off exit 10...My town has an exceptional number of Italian Americans...Did you at any point have cause to frequent the many Gentlemens Clubs on Rt 35...You may remember back in the 1980's the Clubs had a reputation for featuring Beautiful Women whom often neglected the the Nudity Laws and were the cause of much enjoyment for the patrons...Welcome to the SMF...JJ
