Hello everybody, I'm Chris and I'm from Northern Minnesota. I've been smoking stuff casually for a couple years now, and worked as a cook at a BBQ restaurant around 2009 for a couple years.
I currently have a Masterbuilt Sportsman 30" analog (electric) and am in the process of planning a wood/charcoal offset smoker to be built this year or next (I'll start a new thread for that sometime this week).
Recently I have been smoking a lot of bone-in pork roasts with apple or cherry chips, using my own rub. I have also smoked up some turkey legs for the Game of Thrones season finale and the thing I'm most proud of is a foot-long chunk of NY Strip loin that I smoked up Labor Day weekend (I'll upload pictures tonight when I'm off work if I remember).

Basically, I smoke a lot of pork because it's cheap, but I like to experiment!

Belated welcome from another newish member. Hope you stay into it and get that stick burner fired up one day. sounds like your into it good now with the digital electric.
Good luck and welcome.
