Hey ya'll!

My name is Joe "SHORTY"! I live in Milledgeville, GA. I would say that I am a pretty regular smoker and bbq'er! Currently I cook with a Char-Griller DUO, Char-Griller Charcoal Grill, a Char-Broiler Smoker, and vertical smoker, and am currently building a 250g trailer smoker. Someone mention this forum to show-off what I am builder and well as to get tips and tricks on making it as well as using it! Look forward to posting and getting to know some other members!

Welcome Shorty! Glad to have you here.

Alot of great people on the forum, always ready to answer questions and offer up suggestions.

By the way, I'm looking for property on Lake Sinclair. Deeded and unrestricted. Want to have a weekend retreat for the motor home.

We stop in Milledgeville alot on our way to NC. Has the Pickle Barrel ever reopened after the fire.  We also loved El Amigo for mexican food.

At any rate, welcome aboard and we will be heading your way soon.

Have you decided how you want to fuel the 250? If it's wood come back and we can help,I'm a dedicated Stickburner and even use it in my UDS.

Have fun and.....

yes Pickle Barrel has reopened, it's just a little up the road from where it was in front of Kroger, although Kroger is getting ready to move up closer to the lake!
