Hi folks my name is Jason and I live in Bethany Beach Delaware. My wife did the greatest thing and bought me a Masterbuilt 30" propane smoker for Christmas. I used this forum as a great resource to add a mod to the smoker to help regulate temp (added a needle valve to the line). And also to prepare me for my first smoke. I smoked an eight pound Boston butt yeasterday and it came out great! Despite having to constantly adjust the flow of propane to keep the temp between 225-245 degrees. (I'll be posting elsewhere for tips on how to stop the temp fluctuations).

Anyways this smokers has opened culinary doors for me and my family and I am excited to dive into it.

Welcome to the forum Jason!  Glad your butt was a success.  I'm not familiar with the propane smokers, but I have heard of the needle valve mod.  Best of luck with your smokes.
