Cape cod Ma.
Just got a campchef smoke vault for christmas. I found this site looking for tips on meat smoking.Looks like it was just what I was looking for. If anyone owns a smoke vault I would love to here from you.I am an experienced cook, but new to smoking, so I would appreciate any tips.
 
Welcome fcb, you definitely found a great site with so much info on smoking you are going to end up needing to start a list of things you want to smoke.
I'm sure someone will be able to help you out with your smoker before long.
 
Welcome to SMF. The 5 day ecourse will help you with that new smoker. There are some members around with that one.

When you uploading to Photobucket I always use the Large IMG setting, 640 x 480 it is a nice size...

First off welcome SMF and I have a Smoke Vault 24" too. They are a real good smoker for anything that you want to smoke. I'm mean they are very easy to use. You will be happy pretty fast with your smoker and stumbling onto this place. There are alot of good folks here that would do just about anything to help you with anythign to do with smoking meat. I would say you need to sign up for the 5 day E-course it's free and it will give you the basics on smoking.

There's a link to it so just click on it and you will be on your way to some really really good food and the king of the smoker too. So the next thing you do is run right out and get something to smoke and start smoking it. Then if you have any questions just let us know and we will answer all your questions. Oh yea there's no stupid questions here cause we all started out newbies just like you.
