Just checking in.

I joined because I always end up here when I search pictures of "propane tank smokers". I'm picking up a 250 gal. tank tomorrow and starting my own build. Hopefully it will turn out, I'm planning on doing a vertical design. Other than that I've been making low and slow bbq for a few years now I guess. I'm on a Weber Smokey Mountain 22" right now. I've probably done over 20 pork butts and maybe 10 briskets on it among other things, and it's a really nice smoker. However I'm ready to move up to a stick burner and want something really nice with heavy steel but don't want to spend over $1K. I figure building one I can save money plus it'll be a fun project. Cool, see ya'll later!

Good luck with your build and good smokin', Joe :grilling_smilie:
