New Culinary Adventure

  1. My name is Duane. I've been grillin' and chillin' on the Lake Michigan shore in West Michigan for years. Some friends have been into smoking and I contracted "smoker-envy". I'm looking forward to trying as many new recipes on as many types of meat and other edibles as possible, including our locally caught salmon & steelhead. I'm using a Masterbuilt electric with remote & have already had some success with a beef brisket and now I'm on to some baby backs. Looking forward to communicating with and gaining knowledge from all of you with the know-how, tips and "secrets". Thanks! Westernlandman (Duane)

    Welcome to the forums, Duane!  Glad you've joined us.  You've found a great place to learn and share ideas on our favorite pastimes...grilling, smoking, and curing great food!  There are lots of friendly and knowledgeable folks here who really enjoy helping one another.  Just ask any time you need help and you'll get plenty!
