Hey guys, new to the forum, love meat, and love cooking it. Need help on cooking a brisket for my first time. I'm going to do a lot of research, so I don't really have specific questions right now. Oh actually, it's a stupid question, but can I put wood smiking chips in my oven on the little red hot coils to try an smoke? I'm asking because I want exact temperatures and not sure how to achieve them withcharcoal. I was going to charcoal smoke each side hf an hour an put it in the oven at 220º for like six to eight hours. Juat guessin here. Appreciate the info fellow carnivores.
