I've been learning to navigate the system and having limited success but thought I'd direct anyone interested to www.chucksbluemoon.com I've put up some pictures and a description of the reverse flow unit we're working on. Take a look if you have a chance. I'll appreciate your suggestions.
 
Looks great so far, but I have zero experience with trailer smokers or side fireboxes. Welcome to the forum!

Like what I see. I see you are mounting the fire box to the right and the drain in the middle.. It works, but you may want to look out placing the drain at the end on the same side the firebox is allowing to the place your plates on a small upward angle (1/4" to 3/8" max rise) to the other side where the smoke will enter. I feel it helps the smoke flow better and all then the draining will flow across and out. Just my 2 cents.. Keep the pictures coming I will like to follow the build too.
