by the way, i viewed your build and really enjoyed it.

jok3r-x, thanks man!!

Just excellent welding!

I assume at some point in your life there Uncle, you have been paid to weld?

Do you work with your hands for a living? You should!!

Can't wait to see more. What you gonna do for hinges? 90 degree bent rod in pipe or straight rod in pipe?

Steve

PS--what are you using for a welder?

smok'n steve, thanks alot.as far as using my hands. im a diesel tech,i weld and fabricate as a hobby/sidejob.for the hinge im using d.o.m. tubing with an inside diameter just under 7/16'' and using 7/16'' bolts with the heads cut off for the pins. i also drilled an oiling hole in the pivot side of the hinge.man what a sweet fit, no slop.as for the welder its a millermatic 210 mig with lincoln L-50 superarc wire in a .035 size. heres a few pics of the hinges.

Nice work dude, You have got some serious skills.Looks to me like ya just got fired working for Ben Lang, and have gone out on your own! I'm givin ya points too! The hinge idea is nice, cept for one thing, and I don't like it one bit!

Real nice, I looked up the Miller 210, 3/8" with one pass---oooh, very nice!

I think though that you could probably do it with coat hangers and a torch by the skills you have showcased so far:-)

Keep the pics coming, take your time!!!

Steve
