I know many of you guys are harvesting your chiles as I write. Mine are off to a reql slow start, but they are growing. I attached a pic I took today of a Chichimeca Jalapeno going from flower to chile pod. Don't wait for me... I may be awhile.

yeah, but when we are running out, you'll still be picking. I wish I could get them as big as I see them at Sav-A-Lot. At .99 cents a lb, I still break down and pick up some. Something about 3.5 inch long by almost an 1.5 thick makes a great ABT

i kicked *ss on cayennes this year, but japs looks like a wash.......tobassco just NOW coming on.........kung pao's look great, waiting on them to turn red, same as the aniheims........italian roasters and garden salsa's also kicked butt this year..........same as the serano's...

Rich..looks good..we have started to pick the 1 weekend in aug. am going to wait till 2nd week in sept to pick. the farmers say the peppers here are best then. my crop was ruined by a herd of guinnie hen fowl. altough I have one hab plant and some other that I am not sure of that will produce.

Sorry to hear about the raid, might have to find a way to isolate the next crop. if I was closer I'd give you some my jalapeno, sandia, and chimayo plants. Good luck my friend.
