We've enjoyed others who have smoked, especially whole pigs...but never did ourselves.

We are trying our first time this weekend with a 13lb turkey.  We have the rotisserie as our backup. :)

We have a Brinkmann 810-1750-S and in looking for the manual, we found this forum!

We live in OH, but are native Long EYElanda's.  ;)

Welcome to SMF I am not familiar with that smoker, but I love smoked Turkey

Thanks!

From what I've read there was a lot of modifications on this grill/smoker, so I'm pretty nervous.

For turkey what is your favorite wood chips?  We have Apple, Cherry, Hickory & Mesquite.
