I have to replace my NWTF (National Wild Turkey Federation) Masterbuilt smoker as the heating element has gone up in smoke (pun intended).  It was a 30" smoker and did me well for several years.  Sure wish you could replace the element.  Other than the fact it went belly up, my only real complaint about it was the LCD (green) readout (Very hard to read in sunlight, so am liking the new blue readouts (I think??).  Anyway, I am now in the market for a new replacement.  I am looking for recommendations for a 30" model (doesn't have to be a Masterbuilt).  I will continue to search the posts looking for info, but if others can make suggestions for me to research, it would be great.  I am full time RV'er so need something that won't be super heavy...my old smoker was about as heavy as I'd want to go I think.  I see these two smoker models on Amazon (Masterbuilts):  20070213 versus 20078715.  They both appear to be identical, but the later says it is a "newer" model when looking at the first one...and about $30 more.  I can't pick up on what is different other than the price.  I see people mention Gen1, Gen2, etc, but can't figure out what exactly those refer to (wonder if my NWTF model was perhaps a "Gen1"??).

Anyway, would love a smoker that goes beyond the 275 degrees my Masterbuilt maxed out at, but can live with that...be nice to finish off a chicken to crisp the skin.  Glass front?  Bluetooth?  Digital probe would be nice but not sure if the other features really amount to much.  I like that you can add chips to the Masterbuilt...please comment if other models you might recommend allow this.
