North Myrtle Beach SC
Hello everyone - Name is Martin.  Currently live in North Myrtle Beach, SC.  I bought my FIRST smoker earlier this week (Traeger).  Have to admit, feeling a little intimidated - but this is something I have always wanted to do.  Pretty handy with a regular grill, but this looks to be a whole new ballgame.  I think my biggest fear is spending big bucks on a hunk of meat and messing something up and having to give it to the dogs.  Nice to know there is a place like this to get some advice, etc.  I look forward to browsing through the posts and learning everything I can.  Feel free to reach out if anyone has anything to comment or say - I'm an open book and will reply back.

Thanks again for allowing me in your group.

Welcome to the board, Martin! If you're just getting the hang of the rig, try smoking chicken pieces as they're inexpensive and easy.

By chance tonight I'm writing an article about sharks found at MB.

Good evening and welcome to the forum, from a cloudy and warm day here in East Texas. Lots of great people with tons of information on just about  everything.
