My very first fattie!

  1. Yesterday I bought all the ingredients for my first fattie! The recipe came from none other than Stauf!!!
    I added an egg to the sausage for fun!
    it was tough without the bamboo stick, I though I had em' but I made due..I did the recommendations that stauf said to do by chopping the onions and adding a bunch of cheese, I for for the butter!
    no blow outs!! Oh I used hickory chunks with charcoal... When that ran down I added cherry chips and the remaining chopped up onion to the chip tray... It stayed at around 250 for 2 hours, then I flipped the fattie over for about 40 minutes to crisper the other side...
  2. Haven't cut it open for the money shot yet! Also I just re-read my post, and what I meant to say is that I forgot the butter... Bummer.. Lol
